Buck Poole
Senior Pastor
Buck joined TCLP as Senior Pastor in August 2025 after serving on staff at CrossPoint Church in Argo, AL for the previous seven years.
Buck was born in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Clay-Chalkville High School in 2001. He received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Auburn University in 2005 and 2006. After graduation, Buck worked for 11 years in public accounting before answering a call to ministry in 2017. He received a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham in 2020 and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Theology for the Church from Beeson Divinity School.
Buck and April were married on June 26, 2010. April holds a bachelor’s and master’s in accounting from Auburn University. After spending four years in public accounting, April transitioned into corporate accounting where she remains currently.
Buck and April have two children. Kate was born in May 2013 and Braden in September 2016. Kate loves to read and write, and her dad has instilled a love for basketball in her as well. Braden loves all sports and keeps his parents moving from ballpark to gym year-round!
