What are we doing?

The first part of our Vision Frame is our missional mandate. The missional mandate is the guiding compass of our church. It gives us direction and points everyone in that direction.

Our missional mandate is to glorify God and make disciples by inviting our community to enjoy fulfilling lives in Christ.

Our Values

Why are we doing it?

Our values make up the second part of our Vision Frame. They serve as the motivational flame of the church. Our values are the shared convictions that guide our actions.

Our values are:

  • Speaking His Truth – teaching biblical truth, equipping for life
  • Sharing Our Hope – telling our stories, winning our world
  • Showing the Way – leading the next generation, following God’s path together
  • Soothing Their Hurt – loving people, caring for their needs

Strategy

How are we doing it?

The third area of our Vision Frame is strategy. It is like a flashlight that helps everyone clearly see next steps to getting involved. Our strategy consists of the following four proven pathways that help us to accomplish our mission: Worship, Grow, Serve, Go.

WORSHIP: Jesus tells us that the Father seeks those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). Worship is more than a song on Sunday; it is our whole life responding to who God is and what He has done through Christ.

At TCLP, we worship together through:

  • Weekly worship services Sundays at 9:15am and 10:30am
  • Baptism
  • The Lord’s Supper
  • Kids Own Worship
  • Youth Sunday Nights 6:00-7:30pm

GROW: We are called to grow up in every way into Christ, who holds the whole body together in love (Ephesians 4:15-16). Growth happens as we open God’s Word, learn His truth, and take next steps of faith in Bible study, small groups, and daily life. View our list of groups here.

SERVE: As one body with many members, each of us has been given unique gifts by God’s grace (Romans 12:4-6). The church is called to use those gifts by serving one another and the world around us as the hands and feet of Christ.

  • Guest Services- Our Guest Services Team is critical in connecting guests into their new church family. Join one of our Sunday morning teams!
  • Preschool and LP Kids-  Our Preschool and Kids ministries serve birth through 5th grade. We create a fun, engaging environment where kids learn about God’s Word and experience His love. You can serve by rocking babies, teaching a Bible study class, or leading worship on Sunday mornings.
  • Youth- At Liberty Park Youth, our mission is to transform teenagers into ambassadors for Christ who embrace and submit to God’s vision for their lives. We have plenty of serving opportunities – leading a small group, setting up / tearing down for events, or leading at camps or retreats.
  • Worship- Join our worship team as a musician or support our production efforts. Help us proclaim Jesus from the stage or behind the scenes.
  • Pathways- Our Pathways Ministry offers hope and support to those with memory loss and their caregivers. We’re looking for kind, caring volunteers to spend time with participants, help with activities, and support families who need encouragement.
  • Biblical Counseling- Our Biblical Counseling Ministry provides personal, Scripture-based discipleship to help people apply God’s Word to life’s challenges in a lasting way. Volunteers primarily serve in GriefShare, offering encouragement and hope to those who are grieving in a safe, confidential setting.

GO: Jesus commands us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching in His name (Matthew 28:19-20). We live this out by sharing the gospel, reaching our community, and joining God’s mission both near and far.

Our Measures

When are we successful?

The fourth area of our Vision Frame is measures. Measures are the attributes or characteristics of what a disciple looks like. Our measures provide a standard by which our development as disciples can be measured. At The Church at Liberty Park, we strive to produce disciples who are:

  • Connecting To God
  • Enjoying His Family
  • Pouring Myself Out
  • Shining His Light
