I'm New

We would love for you to join us at LPBC!  This page will give you an idea of what to expect when you get here, as well as answer questions about directions, parking, and childcare.

Where is Liberty Park Baptist Church located?
Liberty Park Baptist Church meets at 12001 Liberty Parkway, Vestavia Hills, AL 35242.  For directions, click here (opens in a new window).

When are Sunday services?
We worship together at 10:30am.

Bible Study groups meet at 9:00am.  One of our friendly greeters will meet you at the front door, and can help find a class that's right for you.

What is worship like at LPBC?
We desire our worship to glorify God, allowing every person present to be a participant, not a spectator.  As for music, you’ll hear a blend of traditional and contemporary styles, always with a focus on magnifying the Creator.  Our Sunday morning instrumental group includes piano, organ, guitar, drums and bass, joined by the choir in our 10:30am service.  As for teaching, we emphasize the Bible, stressing its relevance to our lives today.  You'll find worship at LPBC to be an uplifting, challenging and engaging experience!

What should I wear?
Wear what you feel is comfortable and appropriate for worship.  Our congregation covers a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds.  Some prefer to dress up while others prefer to dress down, but we're all here for the same reason -- to focus our hearts and minds on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Are there activities for my young children during the services?
Yes!  We have a wonderful and active children's ministry.  Please click here for more information (opens in a new window).

Will my children be safe while we are at the service?
Yes.  Our leaders and children’s ministry volunteers are screened and trained in teaching children of all ages about Christ’s great love for them.  They are dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for your children to grow in the loving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Where do I park?
Parking is available in both the front and rear of the campus.  The front parking lot provides access to our sanctuary and adult Bible study groups.  The rear parking lot provides access to our preschool and children’s area.  There are guest and handicapped parking spaces reserved in both lots.

How do I become a member of LPBC?
There are a few ways you can join the church.
  • Trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and following him in believer’s baptism
  • Moving your membership from another Baptist church
  • Moving your membership from another evangelical church that practices believer’s baptism
  • Affirming your commitment to Jesus Christ and participating in believer’s baptism by immersion
